PEI PNP Express Entry

Individuals who are eligible to enter the Express Entry pool and are interested in living and working in Prince Edward Island may apply to the PEI PNP Express Entry Stream.

Applicants for this stream must be eligible under one of the federal economic immigration programs:

• Federal Skilled Worker Program
• Federal Skilled Trades Program
• Canadian Experience Class

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements of one of these three federal programs must begin by creating an Express Entry profile on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website. Based on the information the candidate submits, the Express Entry profile will be given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and the top-ranking profiles will be invited to apply for permanent residence.

Candidates looking to boost their scores can apply to the province in which they are interested in residing for a Provincial Nomination, which will give the candidate an extra 600 CRS points.

The PEI PNP is currently only collecting the single form posted on its website for Express Entry. In order to use this form, candidates must have already created an Express Entry profile with IRCC and must now be looking for a job offer in, or nomination from, the province of Prince Edward Island. The form serves as an expression of the candidate's interest in immigrating to PEI.

Since this is not a formal application to the PEI PNP, there is no application fee.

The PEI PNP does not guarantee that all Express Entry profiles submitted will be reviewed or accepted. Only those applicants with skills matching current identified labour needs for the province will be considered.
