Requirements:

  • Refined verbal communication and written skills. 
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Handle wake-up calls
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Must have physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment
  • Enjoy meeting and conversing with others 
  • Passionate about providing exceptional guest service in a fast paced environment 
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge 
  • Must have flexible availability: mornings, afternoon, evenings, overnights and weekends
